Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTBank) said it has been recognised as the 2012 ‘Best Bank in Nigeria’ by Euromoney Magazine for the fourth consecutive year
.
A statement from the commercial bank Wednesday, said the award, which was presented during the 2012 Euromoney awards for excellence dinner, recently in London, was to honour financial institutions worldwide, which, among others, had recorded significant feats within their operating environments.
Speaking at the event, Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, GTBank, Mr. Segun Agbaje, attributed the award to the bank’s well defined operating strategy, passion and commitment of GTBank employees, as well as its adherence to values such as hard work, discipline and excellence.
Agbaje further stated that the Bank would continue to seek innovative ways of offering its stakeholders exceptional service. He also thanked the Bank’s customers for their continuous patronage and tremendous support over the years.
GTBank’s effort to consolidate its position as a foremost African brand and the bank of choice for customers had led to numerous laurels it had won.
